David Vorhoff serves as a member of the board of directors of MIRA1a Therapeutics and is a 30-year investment banking veteran. Mr. Vorhoff is currently managing director of the Opus Investment Banking Network. He is a founding partner of Texas Atlantic Group in Austin. Prior to Texas Atlantic Group, he served as senior vice president for Premier, Inc. (NASDAQ:PINC) and was responsible for managing the organization’s strategic plan, establishing new business relationships to support Premier’s corporate and enterprise unit objectives, overseeing merger and acquisition activities, post-merger integration, and driving growth through product, service and business analysis. Prior to joining Premier, Mr. Vorhoff served as managing director and co-head of the life sciences and healthcare group at Deloitte Corporate Finance. Mr. Vorhoff is also a Co-founder and current Board Member of Fintag. His career has also included serving as president, managing director and cofounder at McColl Partners, LLC and as managing director in the global healthcare investment banking group at Bank of America Securities. Mr. Vorhoff received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, Mr. Vorhoff has served on the board of directors of Sonic Automotive, Star Scientific, as well as several private companies.
